India has imposed anti-dumping duty on imports of fluoroelastomers from China by five years starting November 27, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) said in a notification. The duty imposed is in the range of USD 8.86 per kg and USD 1.04 per kg.After concluding a probe, the DGTR has concluded that there is continued dumping of this product from China and the imports are likely to enter the Indian market at dumped prices in the event of expiry of duty.
