Wenn Sie Waren exportieren und importieren, kennen Sie das Harmonisierte System zur Bezeichnung und Codierung der Waren, besser bekannt als Harmonisiertes System (HS) oder Harmonisiertes Nomenklatursystem (HSN). Es ist eine allgemein anerkannte Methode zur Klassifizierung gehandelter Waren. Ihre Hauptfunktion besteht darin, den Zollbehörden bei der Identifizierung von Produkten und der Festsetzung der für sie geltenden Zölle und Steuern zu helfen. Im Harmonisierten System wird jedem Produkt ein eindeutiger numerischer Code zugewiesen, der als HS-Code bezeichnet wird. Dieser Code besteht aus mindestens sechs Ziffern und kann in der Regel aus bis zu 10 Ziffern bestehen (obwohl China einen 13-stelligen Code hat).
