Vessel Load Free Out

Vessel Load Free Out (VLFO) is the international shipping term in ocean freight are the terms of loading and discharge as agreed to in the contract with the carrier.


Under this term, the carrier arranges to pay for loading the cargo on the ship, and the consignee/recipient of the cargo arranges to pay and is responsible for the unloading of cargo from the ship to wharf/quay.
